New nest
After all of the usual stress and hassle, the Lovely Lady Duck and I have moved into our new nest. We are now home-owners; hurrah. I shall take some pictures soon, or to be precise when we have finished tidying. Unfortunately, after a long weekend for the move, I am now back at work; harrumph.

Congrats on the new nest! I'm guessing the seller's estate agent collapsed to his kness and sobbed into your trouser hem when he realised he was actually going to sell a property for the first time in a year... ;o)
In the end it was insane; the vendors were so desperate to sell that we ended up paying about two thirds of the price that they originally put the house on at nine months or so before. Apparently, they had already turned down offers higher than we made.
We were very lucky, but it must be hitting sellers very hard,
